You check back in with your partner.  You’ve both been pushing hard, facing fears, pursuing your dreams in different ways.  You feel distance growing; you know it is good, but it feels like she’s closing off from you and your love.  You want to stay together, and ask her to remember what you do for each other…  “I see you!  I know what really makes you happy!”

If you’re gonna do it, you’re gonna have to grow up...  Flashback to childhood:  Blue sky day, Mama and Papa... What was it like?  We all went through a lot.  You understand more now...  You start singing a simple song of love.

You’ve nailed your manifesto to the wall.  Now you’ve really gotta do it.  And you know you can!  But it’s not easy...  You meet Fear... “You can’t go back, do you really wanna go for this?  Are you good enough?”

You believe that love conquers fear, though, and you feel your heart full of love.

You’ve come to peace with the past, and you’re gonna do it differently.  What are you gonna do?  You call up your friends: “I’ve got an idea...”  You write a manifesto:  We’ll get together, love each other, create community, dance and make music, mess up sometimes, and change the world!

You see each other, and you know what you have to do.  This love pushes you to become your better self.  You’re excited, and ready...

You go through sleepless nights, lying awake.  You know you have to follow your dream, and she has to follow hers; but if you do, it will take you away from each other!

Calmly, you talk about it.  Does it really have to happen this way?  The fires of illumination consume you – you realize that time and fate never stop, and change comes with every season...

Your mind changes, and you let go of the past and future.  Your feelings are of peace and acceptance.  You are here and now, loving as always.

Whatever happens, you are present for it and your heart is open.  You’ve been through fire, and you’ve come out with an unconditional love...Postmodern Love.

10. City In Your Heart

You come home after the dance, she shows you where she lives.  Your eyes are wide open.  You are falling in love - with her, and what she creates.

You are both paying so much attention - you become transparent to each other.  What do you see?

So you go dancing.  You meet someone that isn’t like the rest...you’re on the same wavelength.  You want to be together everywhere!  You go dancing; you throw dance parties.  It feels like a revolution!  You feel free when you’re dancing.

You’re just getting out of a relationship.  Your feelings color the whole city where you live.  You want something different now; you want to feel like you belong…

You meditate on it.  Will you leave to another city, or stay...
